LawNet challenge 2012?

The LawNet Challenge 2012 may well involve another trip to the lake district. After the fun and thrills of Helvellyn 2012 it has been suggested that we go back, only this time to Wastwater and the west.

Here are a few of our favouite routes:
1. From Eskdale or Wasdale Head Inn: Scafell + Scafell Pike via Lords Rake (a test of nerve).
2. From Wasdale Head: Mosedale horseshoe (Pillar, Steeple, Goatfell, Redpike) – a Wainwright classic.
3. Great Gable including the climbers traverse for a visit to Napes Needle.
4. Scafell Pike via Piers Gill and Lingmell; down via Great End (over the other two pikes Broad Crag and Ill Crag). Finish with a swim in Sprinkling Tarn!

Great views, Wastwater lake, into  3000ft territory and pints and burgers at the Wasdale Head Inn!!!
